Overall, The Book of Life is a movie that is quite satisfactory. Not a
super-standard animation is, and if the initial expectations are not so
great will be able to give you a sense of satisfaction with the
combination of strange things and familiar it, along with some of the
jokes are pretty okay and of course the music that manages to be
surprising strength. But minus of narrative makes The Book of Life was
felt mediocre in some parts and the film fails the potential to be the
best animated contenders this year, often feels wild and in a hurry so
as not to give the audience a consistent flow with the dynamics of soft
and attractive to accompany them to enjoy the beautiful visual
presentation
